For this episode I visited Fiona Provan, who runs the Calf at Foot Dairy in Suffolk, a ‘pioneering microdairy founded on the belief that cows should keep their calves until their natural weaning age’. N.b this episode contains language that may be offensive to some.

Tim May farms around 1000ha in north Hampshire. He is a Nuffield Scholar and we spoke at length about sustainability, the subject he focused on during his travels. He is an advocate of ‘enterprise stacking’, using the same piece of land for many different enterprises.
