Episode 27 of the Meet the Farmers podcast features Essex farmer and Deputy President of the National Farmers Union, Guy Smith. Much of Guy’s land lies below sea level, similar to my own family’s farm which is situated just a few miles north, so his farm is at long term threat from sea level rise. As this is the final episode of the year we discuss the events that made up this year and look ahead to 2019. We also talk about Guy’s NFU career and how he balances this alongside the family business.
