Not a usual post from me today I’m afraid but it is one that I quite simply have to write. I have received an email noting a critical mistake in my Naze Book – Pushed to the Edge: A History of the Naze and Walton Hall. On pp.110-113 I quote from the memoirs of AHB Franklin, to which I refer as ‘she’ and ‘her’. In fact AHB Franklin was called Tony and should have been referred to as ‘he’ and ‘him’! The mistake will be corrected if and when the book next goes to print, but I hope that this acknowledgement is sufficient for now.
