Greenfield addresses the issue that farmers make up an incredibly diverse community with multiple voices and anybody who writes about agriculture must remain aware of this diversity. The issue of food and farming communication is also explored and it is argued that a range of media must be exploited for farmers to market themselves and improve and maintain public opinion of the industry.
