In the UK and US we are constantly told in the press that we fail in what should be an obligation to educate children about food production, manufacture, cooking and consumption. Even if you don’t fully agree with what 11 year old Birke Baehr says in this TEDx lecture you have to admire his tenacity. We need many more young people like him to act as ambassadors and raise the profile of food in the wider community from the outset.
