In episode 42 we focus on hens. I visited Alaistaire Brice who farms in Suffolk under the Havensfield Happy Hens brand. Alaistaire and his wife Fiona work with 16 other farmers across Suffolk and Norfolk. They have 16,000 birds of their own and a further 160,000 on contract to them on other farms, selling around a million eggs per week.
